What To Read Next: Sunwalker Saga and Beyond #paranormalromance #urbanfantasy

Kissed by Darkness_400x600

Readers frequently ask me “What should I read next?” This is usually right after they’ve finished the six books of the Sunwalker Saga. They’re mourning the end of Morgan’s story and desperately wanting more. I get it. I wrote the series and although the particular story arch that made up the main series of Sunwalker Saga was finished, I just couldn’t give up the world and its characters. They were too much fun. There were so many more stories still locked inside my head, yearning to get out. So, yes, I wrote more.

Sunwalker Saga: Soulshifter Trilogy

One of my very favorite characters ever is Zipporah (aka Zip), the djinn girl from Kissed by Smoke (Sunwalker Saga – Book 3). I won’t spoil things for new readers by telling you what happens to her in Book 3, but let’s just say that was not the end of her story. So, I wrote this trilogy of novellas that take place after the events of Kissed by Smoke, and before the fifth book, Kissed by Ice. Basically, while Morgan is chasing vampires around Paris in Kissed by Moonlight, Zip and Mick (Mikey from Book 3) are chasing demons around Portland. As you do.

The books in reading order:

You can find them all on Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo.

Sunwalker Saga: Witchblood

After the events of Kissed by Eternity (Sunwalker Saga – Book 6), I realized there was a LOT more story to tell. Particularly about the witches that helped Morgan and the gang stop the evil conspiracy perpetrated by…oh, that would be another story. ;-) You gotta read the series! Let’s just say there were vampires, magic, and other shenanigans involved!Spellwalker03_200x300

Anyway, I knew the Emory Chastain, leader of the coven of witches, needed her own story. So I wrote the first book of the new series, Spellwalker. Technically, you could also view it (chronologically speaking) as Book 7 of the series as it takes up pretty much (more or less) where KbE left off. More Haakon! More witches! More magic and mayhem!

Readers loved Spellwalker so much, I wrote a second Witchblood book: Deathwalker. And now I’m working on the third, Mistwalker (out later this year). There will definitely be at least 1 more book in the series. Likely 2.

You can find the Sunwalker Saga: Witchblood novels on Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo.

Also available in paperback.

But Morgan isn’t finished yet… And neither is Kabita!

Kissed by Eternity_300dpiI’ve got lots of plans for the future. Morgan will get at least one more book. It will have a NEW story arc, but you’ll get to find out what happens to her AFTER KbE. (There may even be a wedding. HINT! HINT!) I don’t have a date on this yet, but it WILL happen. Probably early 2016.

Kabita Jones is going to get her own story. It may or may not turn into a series. And it may or may not involved the delicious Trevor Daly. Stay tuned…

Finally there will be some further adventures in this fantastic world of Sunwalkers, sidhe, vampires, demons, djinn, Titans, Ancient Atlantis, Templar Knights, Amazons, and things that randomly go bump in the night. I’m definitely toying with ideas set in the Regency (history geek!) and the far future (scifi geek!). And, of course, Jack is still on my mind… ;-)

I hope you’ve found this information helpful and I hope you enjoy the various adventures in my little world. If you have more questions about the Sunwalker Saga, Morgan Bailey, Inigo Jones, Jack Keel, vampires, djinn, or anything else, really, please leave a comment and I’ll get back to you!

Happy reading!

She Speaks to the Dead

Lene Davenport is unique in the magical community. She’s a Deathwalker: a witch who can sense death and speak to the deceased. It’s not fun having ghosts show up in your bedroom, so Lene does her best to avoid her gift. Unfortunately, Fate has other ideas and she is forced into using her powers in order to find a serial killer who is stalking members of the supernatural community.

He’s Not What He Seems

Lucien Antonelli is the rarest of the rare: a male Witchblood with real power. But all of his power can’t help him protect his people and when he meets Lene Davenport he realizes it’s not just his life that’s at stake. It’s also his heart.

Ride the Dragon: Intro Box Set #paranormal #science fiction

Want to try out the first book in four of my series for a discount? Check out Ride the Dragon, the paranormal/scifi intro box set. It’s cheaper than buying each book individually and it will give you a taste of some of my worlds.

NOTE: These are not new stories, but previously published books packaged together at a discount.

Description from Amazon:

A collection of four books introducing you to four different paranormal and science fiction series by Shéa MacLeod. Perfect for anyone new to MacLeod’s writing.

OMICRON ZX (An Omicron ZX Prequel) – Starship captain Zala Lei’s bid to bring a dangerous criminal to justice leads her to Omicron 5 and Xander Lodai, a man even more deadly than the one she’s tailing. She can only hope that Xander can help her stop evil in its tracks before she becomes the next victim.

FEARLESS – Soulshifter Trilogy Book 1 (A Sunwalker Saga Spin-off novella) – “I hated this life I’d found myself in and yet I had no choice but to carry on living it. Lost. Confused. Alone. Forever separated from my own kind.”

Murdered at the hands of her king and former lover, Zip finds herself stripped of nearly all her powers and trapped inside the mortal body of a teenager. She finally knows what it is to be human, but it might be the last thing she wants. Especially with a killer stalking the halls…

“Swallowing hard, I held his gaze. I wasn’t sure if I was daring him or defying him. Maybe both.”

Mick Egan is determined to make his life count for something. Getting clean was one thing. Discovering the secrets of a girl like Zip is another. If he was smart, he’d run like hell, except he’s not about to leave her alone to face a murderer.

DRAGON WARRIOR (Dragon Wars, Book 1) – A man without a past.
A woman without a future.
A world destroyed by monsters.
All that’s left is hope.

In Rain Mauri’s post-apocalyptic world there are no shades of gray when it comes to survival. Until she meets a Dragon Warrior and discovers nothing is as simple as it seems.

Together, Rain and the Dragon Warrior must uncover the truth behind the nightmare their world has become. Their quest will put them in the crosshairs of a ruthless enemy, but with her determination and his skill, they might just save their race from destruction. If they can save each other first.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR (Cupcake Goddess, Book 1) – Once the Welsh goddess of love and beauty, Branwen has lost her powers (most of them), moved to the middle of nowhere, found an obsession for cupcakes, and gained twenty pounds (okay, fifty). She’s not having a good millennium.

So when her next door neighbor, cross-dresser Ryan Roberts, makes a simple wish, Branwen decides to grant it. Ryan is about to find out that where cupcake obsessed ancient goddesses are concerned, you should be careful what you wish for.

Available now on Amazon and Kobo.

Supernatural Saturday. And Stuff.

I haven’t done a Supernatural Saturday in AGES. Seriously, over a year. So rather than bore you with my ranting about whatever supernatural creature is on my mind, I’m giving you this:

3195402a102037433b241316647lYou’re welcome.

You know I only do this because I love you, right? ;)

If you enjoyed that, you should come follow me on Tumblr. That’s another thing I joined ages ago but didn’t do anything with. I am now randomly posting things that make no sense. They’re just things I like. For instance, delicious Regency gentlemen. And amusing memes.

(I’m also on Pinterest if you don’t mind your feed being cluttered with pins of chocolate cake and hot British men.)

Rage of Angels02_200x300

If you’re wondering what I’m up to, I’m writing like mad trying to get the next thing out and into your hot little hands. Right now I’m working on two books at a time. I’m at the 55% mark for A Rage of Angels (Think Firefly meets CSI with a splash of romance and Ancient Aliens) and almost 70% on my hilarious new contemporary romcom (Think London, coffee, cupcakes, and Tom Hiddleston… mostly because I just like Tom Hiddleston.)

More eye candy. Just because.

Happy Saturday!

What’s Next in the Sunwalker Universe?

Kissed by Ice_200x300With the release of Kissed by Ice, Book 5 of the Sunwalker Saga, I’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding the final book, (Kissed by Eternity, Book 6).  I thought I’d take the time to answer some of those questions now.

But just so you know, I will NOT be answering any questions regarding who Morgan ends up with, who dies, why so-and-so is a jerk, etc., etc.

When will Book 6 be out?

I don’t have an exact date yet, but sometime this winter. I’m aiming for February. Be sure and sign up for my mailing list so you don’t miss out.

(I promise no spam! I hate spam! I only send newsletters when I have a new release.)

Will Book 6 really be the last Sunwalker novel?

Yes. And no.

How’s that for clear as mud?

On the one hand, the Sunwalker Saga was always meant to be only six books, and six books it shall remain. HOWEVER, the Sunwalker Universe is a pretty big place and there are still a lot of awesome places, supernatural species, and kick-ass characters yet to discover. Plus some whose stories aren’t nearly finished yet. So, next year I’ll be starting a brand new series set in the Sunwalker Universe. It’ll star a few old faces and some brand new ones.

Including THIS guy… ;-)

Haakon KbI

But I’m so sad over the Inigo/Morgan situation. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME???

Because I’m evil.

But I want more Sunwalker NOW! Why can’t you write faster?

If I could have a superpower it would be supersonic typing! LOL Seriously, though, if you want more in the Sunwalker Universe, check out the Soulshifter Trilogy (Starting with Fearless which is just 99 cents). You’ll find out what happened to Zip and Mick (Mikey) after the events of Kissed by Smoke and before the final show-down in Kissed by Eternity.

If you have any other questions about the Sunwalker Saga (or anything else really), please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll answer as many as I can.

And remember: NO SPOILERS!

Morgan Visits Paris

Earlier this month I hopped on the Eurostar and spent a few days roaming the streets of Paris. All in the name of “research” naturally. The things I do for you …

The truth is that in the fourth book of the Sunwalker Saga (Yet to be written, so don’t get too excited.) Morgan will be heading to Paris (among other places). There will be more mystery, mayhem, and madness. There will be sidhe and Templars and goodness knows what else.

In fact I only know two things at this point. The title will be Kissed by Moonlight and the cover looks a little something like this:

But of course first I must finish the edits for Montlake on Kissed by Fire. But while I do that, why don’t you sit down with a croissant and an espresso and enjoy Morgan’s Paris.

Mythos Monday: Grimm

It’s been awhile since I did a Mythos Monday post. Mostly because I’ve been not just up to my eyeballs, but over my head with edits. Fortunately, though, edits for Kissed by Darkness are done and turned in, ready for Montlake Romance to republish. I didn’t think this book could get any better, but I really think it has.

Kissed by Fire edits will be starting shortly, but in the meantime I’m having a little breather. Between showing a friend around London and a short visit to Paris this week, I’m writing a short story for the Eclective’s next collection (out in June). Not only that, but I actually have a little time to blog. So, I’m talking Grimm.
