Supernatural Saturday. And Stuff.

I haven’t done a Supernatural Saturday in AGES. Seriously, over a year. So rather than bore you with my ranting about whatever supernatural creature is on my mind, I’m giving you this:

3195402a102037433b241316647lYou’re welcome.

You know I only do this because I love you, right? ;)

If you enjoyed that, you should come follow me on Tumblr. That’s another thing I joined ages ago but didn’t do anything with. I am now randomly posting things that make no sense. They’re just things I like. For instance, delicious Regency gentlemen. And amusing memes.

(I’m also on Pinterest if you don’t mind your feed being cluttered with pins of chocolate cake and hot British men.)

Rage of Angels02_200x300

If you’re wondering what I’m up to, I’m writing like mad trying to get the next thing out and into your hot little hands. Right now I’m working on two books at a time. I’m at the 55% mark for A Rage of Angels (Think Firefly meets CSI with a splash of romance and Ancient Aliens) and almost 70% on my hilarious new contemporary romcom (Think London, coffee, cupcakes, and Tom Hiddleston… mostly because I just like Tom Hiddleston.)

More eye candy. Just because.

Happy Saturday!

What’s Next in the Sunwalker Universe?

Kissed by Ice_200x300With the release of Kissed by Ice, Book 5 of the Sunwalker Saga, I’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding the final book, (Kissed by Eternity, Book 6).  I thought I’d take the time to answer some of those questions now.

But just so you know, I will NOT be answering any questions regarding who Morgan ends up with, who dies, why so-and-so is a jerk, etc., etc.

When will Book 6 be out?

I don’t have an exact date yet, but sometime this winter. I’m aiming for February. Be sure and sign up for my mailing list so you don’t miss out.

(I promise no spam! I hate spam! I only send newsletters when I have a new release.)

Will Book 6 really be the last Sunwalker novel?

Yes. And no.

How’s that for clear as mud?

On the one hand, the Sunwalker Saga was always meant to be only six books, and six books it shall remain. HOWEVER, the Sunwalker Universe is a pretty big place and there are still a lot of awesome places, supernatural species, and kick-ass characters yet to discover. Plus some whose stories aren’t nearly finished yet. So, next year I’ll be starting a brand new series set in the Sunwalker Universe. It’ll star a few old faces and some brand new ones.

Including THIS guy… ;-)

But I’m so sad over the Inigo/Morgan situation. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME???

Because I’m evil.

muahaha

But I want more Sunwalker NOW! Why can’t you write faster?

If I could have a superpower it would be supersonic typing! LOL Seriously, though, if you want more in the Sunwalker Universe, check out the Soulshifter Trilogy (Starting with Fearless which is just 99 cents). You’ll find out what happened to Zip and Mick (Mikey) after the events of Kissed by Smoke and before the final show-down in Kissed by Eternity.

If you have any other questions about the Sunwalker Saga (or anything else really), please feel free to leave a comment and I’ll answer as many as I can.

And remember: NO SPOILERS!

Morgan Visits Paris

Earlier this month I hopped on the Eurostar and spent a few days roaming the streets of Paris. All in the name of “research” naturally. The things I do for you …

The truth is that in the fourth book of the Sunwalker Saga (Yet to be written, so don’t get too excited.) Morgan will be heading to Paris (among other places). There will be more mystery, mayhem, and madness. There will be sidhe and Templars and goodness knows what else.

In fact I only know two things at this point. The title will be Kissed by Moonlight and the cover looks a little something like this:

But of course first I must finish the edits for Montlake on Kissed by Fire. But while I do that, why don’t you sit down with a croissant and an espresso and enjoy Morgan’s Paris.

Mythos Monday: Grimm

It’s been awhile since I did a Mythos Monday post. Mostly because I’ve been not just up to my eyeballs, but over my head with edits. Fortunately, though, edits for Kissed by Darkness are done and turned in, ready for Montlake Romance to republish. I didn’t think this book could get any better, but I really think it has.

Grimm

Kissed by Fire edits will be starting shortly, but in the meantime I’m having a little breather. Between showing a friend around London and a short visit to Paris this week, I’m writing a short story for the Eclective’s next collection (out in June). Not only that, but I actually have a little time to blog. So, I’m talking Grimm.

Mythos Monday: Goddess of Love and Cupcakes

Before we get stuck into today’s post, why don’t you hop on over to The Eclective blog for a super smexy video review of Books That Don’t Suck.

And now, onto the mythos.

My trip to Tenby, Wales continues to inspire me.  Despite being eyeball deep in edits for Kissed by Darkness (Pretty sure my Montlake editor – bless her socks – is half demon and half genius), I’m working on a short story which will be in The Eclective’s latest anthology due out in June.  And who should make an appearance in said short story, but the fabulous Welsh goddess of love herself, Branwen!

Mythos Monday: Dylan Thomas Drank Here

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, as the case may be) I did not run into a single Cwn Annwn while in Wales.  I tried, I really did, but they were fresh out in Tenby.  Nor did I run into any Afanc (though granted I wasn’t near a lake so it wasn’t exactly Afanc territory), Water Leapers (giant frogs with bat’s wings), or Gwyllion (ghosts/night wanderers) – unless you count the human variety night Gwyll.  Saw a few of those.  I think they call them “teenagers.”

Mythos Monday: Hounds of Hell

I’m off to the Welsh coast tomorrow for a long deserved bit of R & R.  I just need to wash the little gray cells out with some good, fresh, salt air.

Naturally, with Wales on the brain, I thought I’d dredge up some Welsh zombie myths (what with it being zombie month and all), but nary a one was to be found.  I did, however, find the myth of the hellhound.
